Defense Outfitters is your friendly, small-town family-run blade and gear shop located in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida. For over 25 years, we've proudly served our community, maintaining our family values and dedication. I'm Bryan McLaren, the owner, and son of Gary McLaren, who originally founded our store under the name Knife Express at the Daytona Beach Flea Market. We're still there today, so if you're in the area, please drop by and experience our unique slice of life.
Our journey hasn't always been easy. We've weathered economic shifts and intense storms, challenges that tested our resilience. The COVID-19 pandemic brought new uncertainties, but we've emerged stronger and more committed to our passion.
Selling gear, pocket knives, and self-defense equipment is in my blood. It's a family tradition that I cherish deeply. We're not a big-box store, nor do we aspire to be. Instead, we focus on providing high-quality products within our means, ensuring personalized service and genuine care for our customers. We understand that the market is competitive and that you might find cheaper options elsewhere, but for those who choose to shop with us, we promise to treat you like family.
