Measuring just 70% of the size of the flagship Ultratech, the UTX-70 is built for collectors and everyday carriers who want genuine Microtech performance without the bulk of a full-size automatic knife.

This Signature Series model pairs a striking red machined aluminum handle with Microtech’s distinctive Hellhound Tanto blade. The black-finished Bohler M390MK blade features the aggressive angular profile and detailed machining that make the Hellhound design immediately recognizable, creating a compact OTF that stands out well beyond its size.

Microtech’s Gen IV platform introduces the Dual Fuel Drivetrain, engineered to provide smoother deployment and retraction while reducing the force required to operate the thumb slide. The double-action mechanism deploys and retracts the blade from the same side-mounted control for fast, convenient one-handed operation.

The lightweight machined aluminum chassis features textured areas for additional purchase without adding unnecessary bulk. Updated Torx hardware replaces the proprietary fasteners found on many earlier Microtech designs, while the reversible titanium pocket clip accommodates right- or left-side tip-down carry.
